Cursillo is a way of supporting and encouraging
us on our Christian journey, offering us an opportunity to grow
in faith, following the teachings and traditions of the Anglican
Church. Cursillo begins with a weekend at Whalley Abbey with learning,
worship, music, and fellowship, and an introduction to the Cursillo
method of living the Christian life. After this weekend, we meet
regularly in small groups following a simple rule of life. We
encourage and support one another as we reflect on the ups and
downs of our Christian lives.

The Bible study group meets in the
church extension on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 pm throughout the
year, usually in three or four sessions of between six and ten
meetings. These are friendly and informal get togethers, and anyone
wishing to join us will be warmly welcomed. Please don't think
that knowledge of the Bible is necessary, it isn't. That's the
whole point of our meetings: to look together at various parts
of the Bible or characters in it, to try and establish the meaning
of what we have read, and to look at its relevance to our lives
today.
