Going For Growth

You're never too old to learn!

Learning isn't just for children and those in full time education.
  • And it's not just for those who want to gain qualifications to get a good job
  • And its not just for those who have to take part in training as part of their job, to keep pace with developments or to enhance promotion prospects
  • And its not just for those who want to pursue a particular hobby

Its for all of us, and especially for each one of us as we try to live out our Christian faith

  • Are you fairly new to the church and want to know more?
  • Have you recently been confirmed or taken part in a course that has wetted your appetite?
  • Were you confirmed years ago and that was the last time you really learnt much about what the Christian faith means to you?
  • Or have you kept learning and now have such a hunger to know more?

If your answer to any of these is "Yes!", and even if none of these applies to you, read on.

We are planning a series of learning experiences open to anyone who is interested.

The Bible study group

The Bible Study group meets in the church extension on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 pm throughout the year, usually in three or four sessions of between six and ten meetings.

These are friendly and informal get togethers, and anyone wishing to join us will be warmly welcomed. Please don't think that knowledge of the Bible is necessary, it isn't. That's the whole point of our meetings: to look together at various parts of the Bible or characters in it, to try and establish the meaning of what we have read, and to look at its relevance to our lives today.
